Where are you located?
I am available for telehealth sessions in my home office. I have limited availability for appointment only, in-person sessions in Delray Beach and Boca Raton, Florida.
In-person Locations:
Boca Raton
Delray Beach
Where is parking?
Parking at both locations is free and available around the buildings.
What is an office visit like?
Please inform me if you are sick; we can reschedule or do telehealth. If you feel well enough to come in but are coughing, please wear a mask.
The first session is about getting to know you, and you getting to know me, and feeling comfortable with the process.
I want to know what has motivated you to seek therapy; the more I know your story, the better able I am to provide help.
How long are sessions?
It depends on what type of therapy you are seeking.
Couples should expect the first few sessions to be 90 minutes. After the 3rd or 4th session, they will be 50 minutes unless the couple requests longer sessions.
Individuals should expect 50 to 55 minute sessions.
Longer sessions can be scheduled and are recommended for EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy), but these sessions MUST be scheduled in advance.
How long is it to going to take to feel better?
Some people say they begin to feel better after the first session, and for some it takes longer.
Some issues such as complex trauma will take longer to treat.
For couples, the Gottman Method timeline varies depending on that on which you both want to work. The first 3 or 4 sessions are dedicated to assessment.
How often should I come?
Usually you will come more at first (1-2 times a week depending on your level of concern or distress).
Then, as you feel better your sessions will taper to once a week to once every other week.
This gives you the chance to try the skills and techniques that you learn in session in your daily life.

What issues do you work with?
Couples
Strained relationships or strengthening partnerships. Let’s work on communication strategies, building intimacy, developing coping skills
Individuals
Tired of being tired? Feeling emotionally drained, stuck, anxious? I use a faceted approach that helps with issues caused mostly by ‘thinking’ problems. I use EMDR therapy and work with ego states, and CBT to help clients who suffer with issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, addictions, disassociation and more.
Gender Identity
Individuals with gender dysphoria and with individuals who are along the spectrum of gender expression and identity. Your diversity is beautiful, and you should be celebrated for being the awesome person you are; but it’s all so confusing too, right? You’ll need internal resources that keep you resilient in the face of adversity, but you need external resources too, like friends, and places where you feel accepted. I’m here to help you with that resourcing, help you with trauma you’ve experienced along your journey, and help you explore the you that you were born to be.
Can you fix me?
You aren’t broken! You can change distorted beliefs and give you a more adaptive and resilient thought process. I am here to help you with any struggles you face; you want to be heard; not fixed.
